REIKI
Reiki is a type of energy healing. It utilizes natural life force energy (Rei = universal and ki = life force energy)that is channeled through the attuned practitioner, sending healing energy along the energy meridians and
where ever it is need through out the receiver’s body. Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been
physical injury or even emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can lead to illness. Energy medicine aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure. Reiki practitioners believe that improving the flow of energy around the body can enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness. Reiki can be given with hands on body, directed into the auric field or performed distantly. One of the main focuses during a treatment is the chakras, however Reiki energy can be used site specific, on animals or plants or basically anything.
What is Holy Fire® Reiki? It is an evolution of Usui Reiki. It's both powerful and gentle.

REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is a focused pressure technique, usually directed at the feet or hands. It is based on the premise that there are zones and reflexes on different parts of the body which corresponds to and are relative to all parts, glands and organs of the entire body. In reflexology, pressure is applied to specific reflex points on the foot. The treatment is said to induce a healing response, even alleviating some ailments. The benefits of reflexology are relaxation and stress reduction, enhanced circulation, and assisting the body to normalize metabolism naturally.

For those that know Lori, it should come as no surprise that making someone else feel good and helping others is what moves her.
In the past Lori has volunteered for the Turtle Lake First Responders, was an EMT for the Barron Ambulance Service while still working her “Full Time“ job. (The job she says enabled her to restructure – not retire!) Lori will tell you that growing wiser (not older) allowed her to change some of her conventional thinking as she saw the benefits people received from the simple power of touch.
“You can’t put a value on seeing a person’s mind, body and spirit flourish from something as little as the power of touch and working with their own energy.” It was during this time Lori realized she couldn’t keep fighting off the urge to continue her education and knowledge in a field that she was fervent about. She knew by doing so, it would provide her the tools as well as an opportunity to continue to help others.
Lori attended massage school and completed her training in 2004 becoming a Massage Therapist but at the time was unable to dedicate the time or hours to practice this full time. However, the love of that healing modality and her curious mind along with required continuing education led her to explore the energy work side of things. That is where her focus and passion is today. Lori took many hours of classes and training to receive her certification as a Reiki Master in 2021 and Holy Fire® & Karuna® Reiki in 2023.
Along with offering Reiki, Lori has her certification to offer Reflexology of the hands, feet and outer ear. You can focus on one, two or all three areas in one appointment.
